I began by transforming my own house, room by room and eventually started helping neighbors transform their houses. Today, because of word of mouth, I have a small business where I enjoy helping others with this transformation. I begin with what they have lying around their house, and work with their style and budget to help them transform their houses into homes.

Bonus Room in Bulldog Red!
This oversized bonus room is multifunctional. Part of it is used to watch T.V. and play Wii games, so I left plenty of floor space. (Also leaves a great space for sleeping bags when the kids have slumber parties.) The back part of the room is used for working out and has a boflex. You'll also see a stand with guitars. The older boys often use this room to jam. Then you'll notice the little desk and chairs that the little girls use when playing school, coloring... There is an easel tucked in one of the window niches and a basket of barbies tucked in the other. The border is lined with coasters and block buster movie cards. The futon, I found at a tent sale for $50.00 and the 2 matching wicker chairs and little black table were from the goodwill.
Traditional Jack and Jill Bathroom (boys and girls share)
I put a cheap white shower rod with a clear plastic curtain behind the nice shower curtain. I prefer to use window curtains rather than shower curtains because they are longer and more dramatic. You have to use 2 because the width isn't wide enough, however. I put the curtain on a bronze shower rod to match the bronze towel racks, knobs, and lights. I just screwed off one end of the rod and put it on as I would put a curtain on a rod rather than using traditional shower hooks.
Target and Wal-mart have the best deals on rugs, towels, and curtains. You could also check out T.J. Maxx and Marshalls.
