Finally got around to doing some things we'd been putting off!

We've lived here 15 years and some things needed to be replaced and cleaned up. We had rotten siding replaced and had the house and deck pressure washed and painted. We also had our gutters repaired and replaced some dead shrups, a sky pencil, and planted some verbena. Next weekend we will pressure wash the driveway.

Dead sky pencil and shrubs

Hope these baby's grow quickly. Lol, that's the only size they had in soft touch compact holly.

Planted this hardy mounding verbena under dining room window. It should fill in pretty quickly.

Whole house and shudders and deck pressure washed and painted! But then it made the driveway look ugly, lol.

Luckily, our neighborhood had it's annual garage sale and we bought a pressure washer cheaper than you could rent one. Keith pressure washed the entire driveway!

Next on the list will be to replace the carpeting and maybe paint the interior. When you live in a place for 15 years and things need replacing after a while... Wow, this is the longest we've ever lived in one place and I love it as much if not more from the day I moved here. Athens is an awesome town to live in and raise a family in and I love our neighborhood!!!

Updated my bedroom and the living room!

My old curtains were torn up from my cat and were shorter so I hung them below the transom.

Then, my sister Jeannie, changed her decor and gave me her old curtains (really nice), and they worked perfectly in my living room! I got a thicker rod and bigger rings and hung them higher.

She also found these pictures in her attic from mom and dad's old house and they work great over my bed! Also got these bedside tables and desk from mom and dad's. Dad moved in the guest room / my old office, so I moved my office into my bedroom! I hung the girls' portrait over my desk!
