Wow, what a difference a mattress topper makes!

Can you tell which twin bed has the mattress topper on it???







I put a full size Serta 3 inch soothing cool mattress topper on Ellie's bed when I redecorated her room. She absolutely loved it! Then I got one for the king sized bed in the guest room. Emma wanted one for her twin beds, so we got her a pair for her Birthday. Keith and I have a new mattress on our king bed, but the rest of the beds were older. Wow what a difference it makes! Look at the difference... One of the twin beds just has a mattress, the other one we put the mattress topper on!

Found a solid wooden desk on Letgo app for just $20.00. Ellie and I refinished it and it works perfectly in her room!

Home office for Keith!

Found this Ikea desk and chair on the app, Letgo. Since Keith got the management position, he'll need a home office. We set up his office in the bonus room! Also got him a small table from Walmart, similar to the one we put in Emma's room, only smaller. I added a few baskets in the slots for storage. He can keep his printer/scanner and phone on it. Also found a cool map for the wall that was clearanced at Hobby Lobby. This will be his man cave... He has couches and a TV, his workout equipment, and his music in there. He may only see him when he comes downstairs for meal, lol!











Found this floor lamp at Walmart. He has to have 2 computer screens on his desk!

Decided to update Ellie's room as well. I put the keyboard in there and covered her hope chest to make it a bench.

Emma's new room... she's now in middle school about to turn 13 and outgrew her little girl's room!

Spruced up deck for the summer...

Cleaned and washed the pillows and blankets and washed off all the pollen and replaced some accessories. I put a wicker bowl on the coffee table and a little fake plant on the round table to add texture and simplicity. I wanted something on the tables that wouldn't block your views when you're trying to talk to each other or take up so much space that you had to move them to use the tables...

Finally replaced my office rug...

I loved my other sisal rug with the 2 toned scrolls, but it was getting worn out. Been looking for a replacement for 2 years and found this at Hobby Lobby for 1/2 off. I like the color and texture for this room!

New light kit on fan in guest room (much brighter)

I use the guest room as my office and the old light kit was too dark, so Keith replaced it with a new kit like the ones we put in the bonus room! It's amazing what a difference lighting can make.
