Moved guest room from LC house to Scott’s house for a 3rd guest room

 

Redoing the bonus room once again!

 Every few years we repurpose rooms in our Lane Creek house to fit the ever changing needs of our family. 

This season the bonus room needs to serve as a space for Ellie to work on editing as well as a workout room, hang out room for Ellie and Emma to have friends over and watch movies, play Wii, or PlayStation…

Alex and Leah and Piper and Jax will be living on the main floor and Ellie and Emma will have the upstairs when needed.

I still need to put posters in the poster frame and a table between the chairs!

Fall is in the air

 

Dining room and living room were our summer projects!

Only thing left for dining room is a topper for China cabinet. Only thing left for living room is decor on coffee table!

Front door

 Added wreaths, but still need to paint front doors black or get new ones and paint outdoor lights or get new ones. They are 30 years old.

Still need a topper for China cabinet and maybe candles for table.

Just found candles today at Walmart for table…

 

Just finished 1st guest room with coffee station (need electrician to hide tv wire still!

 

Ordered 2 cream distressed floor lamps for living room.

 We got them for 60 percent off at Kirkland’s. They go great with the chairs we got for next to nothing at the thrift store. Someone bought them and they didn’t work because they look brand new! I absolutely love a bargain! Next we’ll hang curtains to match the ones we just put up in the dining room since both rooms are open to each other. We got curtains from Homegoods!

We need to repaint walls, I used wrong paint color to touch up spots.😳🤪

I found there curtains at Homegoods, rods at Home Depot, bronze curtain rings at Walmart, and blankets at Target…

I still need to get a coffee table and some pictures for the dining room and living room.

Just found a plant for corner and painted the black pot it was in to an ivory to match the lamps.

Pulling together the dining room

 We still need a picture over the buffet and something to put on the buffet, serving table, and on top of the china cabinet, and maybe update the chandelier at some point, but bit by bit it’s coming together. We found a great deal on the rug, which really lightened up the dining room since the walls and furniture are so dark. We just hung some curtains that I found at Homegoods which made it so much softer and cozier. And we got some lamps to put on the buffet.
